A Note on Sizing

One thing I learned the hard way with my two: a dress that just barely fits in May is a sad re-pack by July. If she’s between sizes or growing quickly, size up. A little extra room lets the dress drape the way it’s meant to — and means she’ll still want to wear it next month.

Use a soft tape measure for chest, waist & height - then match to the chart above.

Size up. These dresses drape just as beautifully with a little room — and you’ll get a second wearing out of her before she outgrows it.

Between Sizes?

Always go up. A roomy chest is the difference between her smiling in the photos and asking to change.

How to Measure Your Child ▼
  • Height Stand against a wall, feet flat. Measure from the top of the head to the floor.
  • Chest Measure around the fullest part of the chest, tape level and relaxed — not too tight.
  • Waist Measure around the natural waistline — the narrowest part of the torso, just above the navel.
  • Hip Measure around the fullest part of the hips and seat, tape parallel to the floor.
